Gap Between Orlando Home Buyers and Sellers is a win for Investors.

A research provided by the Mortgage Bankers Association finds that the there’s a growing gap between home buyer and seller attitudes, and it’s not getting smaller! The study, “The Great Recession and Attitudes Toward Homebuying,” shows that while 80 percent of homebuyers believe that now is a good time to purchase a home, home owners believe it is not a good time to sell a home at desired sales price levels. The sentiment among sellers is at an all-time low. The home-selling sentiment usually fluctuated for years between 40-60% until 2005. Since 2005, that sentiment has fallen to 7 percent.

Given these levels of sentiment and employment situation in US, real estate market activity likely will remain leveled in the near term.

This should be a good news for investors looking to acquire the properties in Orlando. Orlando is one of the top rental market in Florida. Getting a good deal on REO or short sale property can lead to 10%+ returns. Acquiring an investment property in US can also help foreign investors in applying for US green Card.
