A research provided by the Mortgage Bankers Association finds that the there’s a growing gap between home buyer and seller attitudes, and it’s not getting smaller! The study, “The Great Recession and Attitudes Toward Homebuying,” shows that while 80 percent of homebuyers believe that now is a good time to purchase a home, home owners believe it is not a good time to sell a home at desired sales price levels. The sentiment among sellers is at an all-time low. The home-selling sentiment usually fluctuated for years between 40-60% until 2005.
